Evangelist Karen Roundtree is the person in charge of our Youth Ministry. She makes every effort to do the work of the Lord by means of the youth department. She has been determined to lend a hand to these young people so they can grow closer to Jesus Christ. She wants them to know that it is okay to be different. It is okay to love God with all your heart more willingly than you love other young men and young women. Love covers a whole host of sins. This is what she wants for the youth: to love God and to live for Him.
The First Church of God in Concord, under the leadership of Reverend David A. Lockhart, who educates us, encourages us, and embraces our mission statement: “We exist to inspire ordinary people to become extraordinary Christians.” Born again of God’s Spirit, we seek to teach and train our youth to take the Gospel to the community through various methods:
This is where our youth can learn the Word. We come together as a family to ask questions, gain knowledge, and to worship God by reading His word.
Daughters of Judah
We love to praise His name through dancing. We want to inspire other youth. Dancing for God is real.
Through the Rosebuds Youth Choir, you are never too young to sing for God.
We utilize our scriptures to step to. We strive to step in the name of Jesus Christ!
As leaders and parents, we endeavor to train our youth so that they know the way of God. Proverbs 22:6 tells us to “Train children in the way they should go; when they grow old, they won’t depart from it.”
But Jesus said, suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me; for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven.
"Help one, teach one; A child saved is a soul saved, plus a life."
We seek to creatively teach and mentor our young people as the Holy Spirit leads, guides, and directs our paths.
